Rhythm and Poetry is a project planned and organised by The Ace Studio, coordinated with the permission and support of local authorities and sponsors. This project is separated into two major event categories which are as follows:
Rhythm and Poetry Carnival
The Rhythm and Poetry Carnival is a major music event that will be held annually. In parallel to Rhythm and Poetry’s vision and mission to establish Malaysia as South East Asia’s main hub for international-standard clean rap music, this event will promote this region’s rap music on a grand scale. Our local musicians will perform together with artists from India, Singapore, China, Indonesia and Philippines with artworks of various languages, introducing the world to the vast possibilities of freestyle, alternative hip-hop, drill, electro, g-funk, rapcore, trap, trip hop and so much more.
Rhythm and Poetry Jams
In parallel to our annual Carnivals, we are organizing Rhythm and Poetry Jams; a nation-wide tour of local new and emerging rap artists. This will allow rap music to reach further into our vast culture, allowing more and more of our locals to be exposed to the rap music scene.
